Training Sessions

Training, a very common word as well as very engaged word.

Today’s world is full with content and those who are part of today are very lucky in terms of getting all most all sort of trainings whatever they need and where ever they need.

It’s all together a different thing that personal training via an individual person or trainer can make more impact rather than an automated training session. The good part is that at least we have what we need and it totally depend on individual to individual how will s/he grab it.

We have also organized few training sessions in the past for non-corporate world and it was a challenge and fun with in.

Usually, when we have live training session, (here LIVE means not online but physical availability in the training centers) we simultaneously had to manage a lot of thing.

The key areas are as follows;

  1. Get ourselves ready to share the training contents
  2. Rehearse prior to appear
  3. Maintain the physical appearance
  4. Clear the throat
  5. Lose all the tensions, health issues and most difficult one is the smart phone
  6. Be patient
  7. Be calm
  8. Be a mentor
  9. Pay full attention to every trainee
  10. Get all of them to the equal platform
  11. Avoid irrelevant discussions
  12. Revolving around the topic
  13. Maintain the decorum
  14. Share all the possible knowledge and experience

Sometimes it become easy and a few times it become a challenge.

The Teacher

First of all, I am thankful to all the Great Teachers, who had enlightened our life with their knowledge. Who are building the world’s future. Who feel proud when their students are making great achievements.

No other profession is near to teaching profession, where the senior feels proud, when his/her junior touches the height of success.

No one can ever fill the place of a Great Teacher.

The world may run without a Doctor or an Engineer, but assuming a world without a teacher is next to impossible.

On the other hand, there are very high expectation from the teachers as well.

If I see today, then the “Work from Home” policy facilitates parents to spend more and more time with their children than ever before. At the same time the ugly truth is that the same parent doesn’t have time for their children.

Why?

Because these parents have to watch TV shows, movies, Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, twitter. Because these parent’s priorities are very simple;

  1. Earn lots of money
  2. If cannot pay from the earning, then take loan but don’t compromise
  3. Sleep the most
  4. Be social all the time
  5. Pay hefty fees to schools
  6. Give smart phones or devices to kids to make them smarter
  7. Force them to be mannered without forcing ourselves to be polite
  8. Give hand full of money to them
  9. Put them on the path of lavish life style

I can go on and on. Let me get back to the topic;

Thanks to our nuclear families’ fashion, which let our child out of their grandparent’s reach. By this we are saving them to become humanitarian and stealing their childhood.

Why?

Because probably we want a corporate kid in our house rather than a normal or an ordinary child.

Well in all these cases, all the responsibilities willingly or unwillingly comes over to our teacher’s shoulders.

These teachers are actually the real HEROs of the society now. They are the one who are building the nation, they are the one, who are trying to make us remain in human gene.   

We can’t thank enough to them for what they are doing for us.

Learning from Training

Learning is the key to success. Doesn’t matter what, where and when are you learning.

Classroom Tarining

Most of the time, due to interest or professional need, one undergoes through the desired training program. These training programs might be different from each other. The tools and technique might varies from one training session to another, however at the end of the day what matters is, was that specific training useful / helpful or was it just a paper work?

Now a days, various methods are available to make the learning program easier and impacted, so that its impression will last more. That’s the reason suddenly we are seeing lots of programs for video creation and animation are at its peak.

On the other hand classroom training is still in fashi

on and consider another effective way of learning. Do we know the reason?

I think classroom training still lasting for a while, because students are paying more attention in classroom in comparison to webinar or home learning. If we use all these animation, training videos in classroom training, in my opinion, it will have double the impact than the webinar or home learning.

To buildup student’s confidence and increase the learning impact, the classroom training should also include assignments and practical sessions. This will establish the two way communication and mutual understanding between the students and the subject, which they want to learn. It certainly will bridge the gap between the theoretical and practical knowledge.

Let’s think again and analyze ourselves about how can we learn better?

Summer Training

We are planning have a 30 hours of training sessions with all those who are either planning to start their career in IT industry or preparing themselves to join big CMMI level IT company.

 

The idea of this training popped up as, many new comers are not exactly aware of what sort of special talent they have and how to improve it. They usually have bigger dreams and want to achieve something quickly, however while joining the work team, sometimes they feel shy expressing themselves. At the same time they used to take much time to understand the company’s process and policies. This makes them confused about what they wanted to do and what are they actually doing here. Due to this confusion, they are lacking in confidence. This confusing state of mind making their team less result oriented and gradually making them misfit for the project. Gradually as the time passes they used to learn things and start making their own choice but this will be at the cost of losing precious time.

 

On the other hand, those who wanted to be a part of more process oriented teams are lacking behind due to not having proper information about the process and not understanding the importance of the existing processes.

 

This small training is one of its kind, actually will help a bit to everyone. It will allow to get the overview of many things at one spot. Under one umbrella, one can easily understand the value of certain well known processes, such as Agile, ITIL, PMP etc, along with understanding the importance of the documentation, chronology of even. The most important is audit, which will make everyone to understand the value of processes. Having said that, it will also help the beginners to stand face to face to the actual world and be productive from the day one. This will not just stop here but allow companies to hire right team member for their projects and reduce the time and cost of the project.

Facebook Startup Training Hub

Training by Facebook

Recently the Facebook has started the “Startup Training Hub”. It is available at https://startups.fb.com

The Facebook id can be used to login and choose the lessons from the provided itemized list, which you want to learn. Since it is just started so not much data available there, however as a startup it is sufficient. They are promising to share more data shortly.

Unlike the other training portals, which are providing training sessions in the animation of video format, the Facebook is giving these trainings in readable format as of now. It is good for those who wants to read and learn. The catch here is, that if you don’t even read the full lesson and simply scroll down till end, you’ll get the training completion note with “start next training” option.

The Facebook is also giving an opportunity to those who want to create their own training plan, so by clicking the “create lesson plan” one can select the kind of training he/she want to go for. It will ask few basic questions before we can continue and based on the answers, it will provide a list of training lessons for you.

Again since it is Facebook and I think that is the reason why it’s idea is different than other training portals. It is quick, easy to load and as you read the complete lesson, the training will be marked completed.

I strongly recommend it to be explored by you at least once.
